What is vitamin K oxide?

    Most topical vitamin K products are specifically designed to deal with minor sunburns and burns and reduce redness associated with broken or damaged blood vessels.     When used as a component of postoperative treatment, gel should be applied to the affected area immediately after surgery. Repeat use is recommended until discoloration subsides. It should be noted that this product is generally not recommended for use on broken skin or open wounds.
