Understanding of potassium 4-methoxy-salicylate (4MSK) by Experiments

According to the in vitro experimental model, 4-methoxy-salicylate potassium (4MSK) has certain function similarity with salicylic acid, which can promote smooth metabolism of melanin.

    Potassium 4-methoxy-salicylate (4MSK): Inhibits melanin production
    The key to study whitening ingredients is to analyze the actual production of melanin and tyrosinase inhibition. In brief, potassium 4-methoxy-salicylate (4MSK) inhibits melanin production and tyrosinase activity at certain concentrations. The concentration dependence of the former is in the range of 310-4 and 10-3mol/L, while the concentration dependence of the latter is in the range of 510-4 to 310-3mol/L.
