This product is white to white solid, insoluble in water, easily soluble in chloroform.
Uses: tetrabenzyl galactose is a precursor to the synthesis of many active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates. It is widely used in the synthesis of drug intermediates, glycoconjugates, molecular probes and polysaccharides.
Tetrabenzyl galactose can be used as intermediates for the synthesis of acyclosidine derivatives and as intermediates for the synthesis of galactose-terminated diacylglycerol polyethylene glycol.
α-galactosidine (α-galactose-H N J) can be prepared from tetrabenzyl galactose by Wittig chain extension reaction and cyclation reaction, which can enhance the activity of mutant enzyme in lysosome storage disorder and provide a treatment method for lysosome storage disorder patients.
It can be easily converted into tetrabenzyl galactose derivatives with high reactivity such as fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodide, trichloroacetylimide and so on. For the synthesis of glycoconjugates, such as intermediates that can be used to synthesize novel glucolipid derivatives with immunosuppressive effects for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. Tetrabenzyl galactose can be used in the synthesis of molecular probes, such as a biosensor that fixes sugar chains to substrates such as gold. As a conventional biosensor using sugar compounds, the polymer can be used effectively for qualitative and quantitative bacterial or toxin analysis. As a common structural unit, it can be used to construct glycosidic bonds for the synthesis of various polysaccharides, such as the preparation of aG al (1-4) βG al (1-4) G lc-O R trisugars.
